We are looking for a logo that will characterise our network for Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development: RCE Central Semenanjung and be used as our official logo. This is your chance to design it!
The logo competition is open to all, and the winner will be awarded with cash of RM100.
Deadline for submission: 15 January 2024
Winner announced: 15 February 2024
How to apply?
Ensure you are eligible to submit a logo design by carefully reading the guidelines below.
• Make sure your logo design adheres to the competition guidelines.
• Enter your logo submission as a PNG or JPEG file (under 5 MB).
• Submit your entry by latest 15 January 2024; 23:59 MYT for full consideration to this email: umsdc@um.edu.my
What are we looking for?
Logo designs will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Relevance - The logo should be relevant to RCE Central Semenanjung and in-line with what it stands for. Brief description about the RCE Central Semenanjung: https://www.

• Scalability - The logo should be simple enough to be able to be scaled down or up and still look good.
• Impact - The logo should capture the viewer’s attention and leave a positive, memorable impression.
• Versatility - The logo should look equally good on the web and on print material.
Competition Guidelines
Eligibility
This competition is open to all from those who like to play around in MS Paint/Photoshop, to those that are designers by trade.
No previous design experience is necessary.
Responsibilities of the winner
The winning designer shall provide a high-resolution version in PNG or JPEG file format of the winning logo.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
By submitting an entry, applicants agree to permit UMSDC and RCE Network headshot pictures in connection with the competition.
The participants of this competition grant UMSDC and RCE Network the right to use and reproduce their submitted logo design and utilise it in UMSDC and RCE Network materials without restriction or compensation.
By submitting their logo design, the participants warrant that the submitted logo design does not infringe upon the copyright or other rights of third parties.
