Discover UM Living Labs

The Universiti Malaya (UM) Living Labs Towards Just Net Zero Grant is an initiative designed to promote sustainable development and climate action through innovative, community-engaged projects. The program focuses on achieving net-zero carbon emissions in a just and equitable manner. It leverages the concept of "Living Labs," where researchers, students, and local communities collaborate to test and implement real-world solutions for reducing carbon footprints and addressing climate change.

The grant emphasizes inclusivity, ensuring that vulnerable and marginalized communities are actively involved and benefit from the transition to a sustainable future. This initiative aligns with global sustainability goals and UM's commitment to fostering environmental stewardship and social equity.
