We are pleased to invite you to an event on 4th January 2025, where we will explore innovations in sustainable farming, focusing on Aquaponics Systems and Black Soldier Fly (BSF) bioconversion. This event is co-organized by Eco Varsity and the UM Sustainable Development Centre.

1st Session: Fireside Chat by QuinTerra
During this session, we will discuss:
- Aquaponics Systems: An introduction to how aquaponics combines fish farming with plant cultivation in a sustainable, water-efficient system.
- Black Soldier Fly Bioconversion: An overview of how BSF can be used to recycle food waste into valuable products like organic fertilizer and animal feed.
- Food Security in Malaysia: Learn about efforts to increase local food production to reduce reliance on imports and ensure access to fresh produce.
- Circular Economy: Explore how sustainable farming practices contribute to a closed-loop system in the food industry.
2nd Session: Farm Visit to Ladang Mini ISB
