Dear campus community,
🌿 Welcome to the Klang Valley City Nature Challenge (KVCNC) – where urban biodiversity meets citizen science! 📸 Whether you're indoors or outdoors, nature surrounds us in surprising ways. So, grab your camera or phone and let's start documenting the incredible flora and fauna of the Klang Valley!
🌆 The City Nature Challenge 2024 is a global initiative led by the California Academy of Sciences and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. And right here in the Klang Valley, Malaysia, we're proud to be part of the action, organized by Sekitar Kita and the Universiti Malaya Sustainable Development Centre, with generous support from IOI Properties Group and the Librarian's Association of Malaysia.
🌳 So, what are you waiting for? Every snapshot counts, whether it's a majestic tree in the heart of the city, a tiny insect on your doorstep, or a vibrant flower in your neighborhood park. Let's celebrate the rich biodiversity that thrives in our urban landscape!
📷 Don't forget to share your discoveries on the official City Nature Challenge platform, where your observations will contribute to global scientific research and help us better understand and conserve the natural world. Together, let's make Klang Valley shine on the world stage of urban biodiversity!
