UM Water Warriors in partnership with UM Zero Waste Campaign (UM ZWC) recently hosted an engaging and educational activity aimed at nurturing young minds towards environmental stewardship at Tadika UM, famously known as TADIKUM.
The activity focused on various aspects of environmental conservation, with a particular emphasis on recycling. Children had the opportunity to learn about different types of recyclable items and the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling materials to protect the planet.
Moreover, the event featured hands-on activities where children actively participated in crafting their DIY water filters and creating button badges from recycled materials. These interactive sessions not only sparked creativity but also instilled valuable lessons about sustainability and resourcefulness. Through this initiative, Water Warriors and UM ZWC aims to inspire a sense of environmental responsibility from an early age, empowering children to become future champions of sustainability.
