UM-SFYP 2026 GRANT APPLICATION IS NOW OPEN!
Dear Universiti Malaya Academicians,
Applications for the Sustainability Final Year Project Grant (UM-SFYP) 2026 are now open!
💰 Funding: Up to RM1,000 per FYP project
📅 Application Deadline:30 October 2026
The UM-SFYP Grant supports UM academicians supervising undergraduate Final Year Projects (FYPs) that address real-world sustainability challenges and align with one or more United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
✅ Eligibility
* Active UM academic staff
* Officially appointed as the FYP supervisor
* Have at least one active UM undergraduate student registered for an FYP course under your supervision
* Proposed FYP must focus on sustainability and SDG alignment
📌 The application must be submitted by the supervising academician on behalf of the FYP student/project group.
✨ Academicians may apply for more than one project provided each application involves an eligible FYP project/student or project group under their supervision.
