Universiti Malaya (UM) via UM Sustainability and Development Centre (UM SDC), International Relations Office (IRO) UM, and UM Center for Civlisational Dialogue (UMCCD) in collaboration with Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA) and EcoKnights will be co-hosting a webinar entitled “Universiti Malaya’s Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice 2022" representing Malaysia's context and discourses on the topic.
The Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice project is an annual program led by the Graduate Programs in Sustainability at Bard College in New York, USA, and Open Society University Network with worldwide partners such as the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU). UM will join other campuses around the world to organize an engaging dialogue on this year's theme "CLIMATE & JUSTICE."
The webinar will take place on 30th March 2022 (Wednesday) from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (UTC +8). During this webinar, the invited speakers will share their opinion regarding climate and justice and explain how local climate initiatives can open the path for climate change solutions for the next decade.
