UM Living Labs Gathering & Mini Workshop 1/2023: Carbon Neutral and Circular Economy Chapter

UM Sustainability and Development Centre (UMSDC) and EcoCampus@UM hosted a gathering and mini workshop with six respective UM Living Labs project leaders and co-researchers. This session aims to reintroduce all six projects and encourage active participation internally and across projects while empowering one another to work on common goals: a sustainable and carbon neutral campus.
This first gathering focuses on carbon-neutral and circular economy strategies for project implementation in the next 12 months. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeeda (Director, UMSDC) and Dr. Noor Suzaini (Coordinator, EcoCampus@UM) welcomed all participants with UM Living Labs @ UMSDC introduction. The session continued with 2 insights sharing session on: i) UI GreenMetric World University Rankings by Mr. Affan, and ii) Times Higher Education Impact Rankings (THE IR) and QS World University Rankings on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) by Mr. Mohd Fadhli. The Department of Development and Estate Maintenance (JPPHB), an important integral stakeholder and implementer, is represented by Mr. Noor Azril Ramli.
