Universiti Malaya in Strategic Local and International Coalition to Promote Climate Justice
via UM's Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice 2022

 

On 30th March 2022, Universiti Malaya in partnership with the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) and Bard College hosted the second year Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice virtually. 

On behalf of the Universiti Malaya, UM Sustainability and Development Centre (UM SDC), International Relations Office (IRO), UM Centre for Civilisational Dialogue (UMCCD) in partnership with Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA), and EcoKnights, we would like to extend our gratitude to all for participating at our UM's Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice 2022 on the 30th March 2022 (Wednesday) from 9 am - 5 pm via Zoom and Facebook Live. This event was globally hosted by the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) and Bard College.

  6. 110 Zoom Webinar Participants attended this event. This event reached 450 views (with 532 people reached) via FB Live.
  7. 4 Hosts for 4 Sessions: Associate Prof. Dr. Zeeda Fatimah Mohamad (Session 1: Unpacking Climate and Justice - Perspectives from Malaysia), Mr. Mohd Fadhli Rahmat Fakri (EcoKnights Movie Screening and Commentary), Datuk Prof. Dr. Azizan Baharuddin (Session 2: Religion and Climate Justice), and Honorary Professor Dr. Nik Meriam Nik Sulaiman (Recap of Key Insights)
