Dear UM Community,
We are thrilled to share that UMSDC has mapped out a range of sustainable facilities on campus to support our community's commitment to eco-friendly living. This map includes details on green and blue spaces where you can relax and enjoy nature, conveniently located recycling stations and bins for proper waste disposal, free drinking water stations to help reduce single-use plastics, EV charging points for electric vehicles, and bus stops for those opting for public transport.
Access the map HERE.
You will also find rainwater tanks and underground water sources as part of our water conservation efforts, solar panels contributing to renewable energy generation, and a sewerage treatment facility ensuring responsible waste management. For our vegetarian community members, we’ve highlighted spots where you can find plant-based food options around campus.
We believe this map can be a valuable resource in making sustainable choices easier and more accessible. However, sustainability is a continuous journey, and we welcome any additional details or insights you may have to improve this guide. Together, we can make our campus an even greener place.
In the meantime, we encourage you to explore and make use of these facilities in your daily activities.
