With the theme 'Inspire, Be Inspired', a sustainability sharing session between SEEd.Lab PETRONAS and UMSDC (EcoCampus - UM Zero Waste Campaign) was a collaborative platform aimed at exploring innovative solutions and best practices for fostering positive social impact. SEEd.Lab is Malaysia’s first-of-its-kind social enterprise innovation hub conceived by PETRONAS and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to nurture sustainable business solutions that address social challenges in the country.
A group of SEEd.Lab Petronas engaged with Universiti Malaya via UMSDC for mutual knowledge exchange. Both parties delved into real experiences and strategies to address sustainability challenges while promoting sustainability within respective communities.
This exploratory discussion spanned diverse topics, including waste reduction, living lab approach, and community engagement initiatives and how all these related to the context of social innovation entrepreneurship. By harnessing collective expertise and leveraging shared experiences, this exchange underscored the significance of cooperation in advancing sustainable development goals in various forms and platforms.
