The 13th Global RCE Conference - RCE Central Semenanjung (UMSDC) participated as Exhibitor showcasing Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) initiatives and contributions
In a significant milestone, the RCE Central Semenanjung (UMSDC) proudly took part as an exhibitor in the 13th RCE Global Conference. The 13th Global RCE Conference was held in a hybrid format from 31 October - 2 November 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The meeting was jointly hosted by RCE Greater Gombak (IIUM) and RCE Greater Kuala Lumpur (UCSI) under the theme 'Whole Community Approach for ESD'. UMSDC as a host to RCE Central Semenanjung, showcasing their commitment to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) through a variety of programs and approaches.
As one of the exhibitors, UMSDC seized the opportunity to spotlight their impactful and innovative Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) initiatives. Through engaging exhibits and presentations, the organization showcased its dedication to fostering a culture of sustainability through education. Attendees had the chance to explore the diverse range of programs and contributions that UMSDC and the rest of the other RCE members have undertaken to promote sustainable practices within the region and beyond.
Participating in the 13th RCE Global Conference exemplifies UMSDC's commitment through the banner of RCE Central Semenanjung to the global sustainability agenda. By actively contributing as an exhibitor, UMSDC not only shared their successes but also fostered valuable collaborations and knowledge-sharing with fellow participants, international and local.
We take the opportunity to thank three members of RCE Central Semenanjung, Universiti Malaya Sustainability and Development Centre (UMSDC) actively participated in this Conference: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zul Ilham Zulkiflee Lubes (RCE Central Semenanjung Youth Coordinator in 2023), Mr. Affan Nasaruddin (Research Officer), and Ms. Nuratikah Mohd Zainodin (Research Assistant).
