Aligned with UMSDC’s mission to “Inspire, be Inspired,” this year, we collaborated with the Centre for Foundation Studies in Science (PASUM) to instill a culture of sustainability, promoting a green and carbon-neutral lifestyle among our incoming students during orientation.
Through the Eco-Culture Explorace activity, students engaged deeply with sustainable practices at UM, including food waste separation, recycling initiatives, reduction of single-use utensils and containers, and conservation of water and electricity.
Slot with UMSDC during orientation: briefing on green habits, the Explorace program, and a zero-waste lifestyle.
During the closing ceremony of PASUM Week of Welcome (WOW), Cell 4 and Cell 57 were both announced as co-winners.
