We are pleased to extend the invitation from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) on the recently launched
TNB Sustainability Superheroes Video Competition 2024 in conjunction with the TNB's 75th Anniversary:
The Sustainability Video Challenge focuses on raising awareness about sustainability practices. Participants are encouraged to showcase innovative ideas, personal contributions, or community-driven projects that promote environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values,
with the theme "Sustainability Superheroes: Your Journey, Our Future."
Eligibility:
The competition is open to all university students, aspiring filmmakers, and anyone passionate about sustainability. Participants can join as part of a team.
Deadline submission:
The final deadline for video submissions is on 31st October 2024 (Thursday)
Video Duration:
The video should be more than 2 minutes long 'or' 120 Sec, ensuring a concise and impactful message.
Video Format:
The video should be submitted in MP4 with a minimum resolution of 1080p to ensure clarity and quality.
How to submit:
Participants can submit their videos via their own Google Drive and provide the link only.
Ensure the submission includes the necessary details such as participant name, contact information, and a brief description of the video content.
Can we use AI?
Use of AI-generated content is strictly prohibited, and all videos must be original creations.

Energy Literacy, Sustainability Superheroes - creative intervention for Malaysia Energy Literacy Program (MELP)
30 Sep 2024 (Monday) @ UNITEN: Four members of UM Sustainable Development Centre (UMSDC) team attended the official launching of TNB’s Sustainability Superheroes Video Competition 2024 in conjunction with TNB’s 75th Anniversary at Universiti Tenaga Nasional.
We are pleased to note that the Malaysia Energy Literacy Program (MELP) has been brought to the attention of Ministry of Higher Education (KPT), soon be offered as an elective course at all IPTA in Malaysia. Currently, UNITEN, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) & Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) has already offered the course, while another three expected to roll out in 2024’s new semester (Universiti Utara Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia & Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP).
