Greetings from WWF-Malaysia!
We are writing to invite the Universiti Malaya students to be part of WWF-Malaysia’s Climate Communication Challenge 2023. The Climate Communication Challenge (CCC) is designed for youth aged under 30 who are currently enrolled as students in tertiary institutions. This challenge is open to students of any field of study as long as they want to amplify the voice for climate action in Malaysia.
The CCC aims to inspire and empower young people to become champions for the planet by providing the technical knowledge and soft skills required to communicate about climate action effectively. To achieve this, WWF-Malaysia has organized webinars led by our panel of experts on subjects such as net zero, climate-nature nexus, and behavioral change. These webinars are based on the Securing Our Future: Net Zero Pathways for Malaysia report and have been made available for viewing at WWF-Malaysia Facebook page.
Moreover, expert-led coaching and mentoring sessions will be held in June 2023 to hone science communication and content creation abilities amongst participants. Participants will be required to submit digital content they have created by 31st July 2023, based on their learning and be eligible to win awards of up to RM1,000.
