About FYP SDG@UM Program
This session is part of a capacity building program series for FYP SDG@UM Session 2025, with the theme: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Just Net-Zero & Urban Sustainability; a Living Lab Action Research Program under the coordination of UM Sustainable Development Centre. 

Main objectives of this program: 

1. To support Final Year Undergraduate Projects (FYPs) addressing sustainability challenges within Universiti Malaya and beyond, particularly in the urban context of the Klang Valley where UM campus is located. These projects align with the UM Sustainability Policy 2021-2030 and the UM Net Zero Strategic Plan: Carbon Neutral by 2030.
2. To equip students with the skills to conduct responsible, action-oriented research and actively engage in addressing real-world sustainability challenges within the framework of the SDGs.
3. To empower students to play a key role in accelerating Universiti Malaya’s transition towards a sustainable, equitable, and net-zero campus, while extending their impact beyond the university.
