In conjunction with the upcoming National Climate Governance Summit 2023 (poster below), Universiti Malaya and Climate Governance Malaysia will organize a special forum on broader issues that are significant for our national context.
This includes:
Importance of polar regions on climate and weather patterns in Malaysia
Climate-related risks and adaptation strategies in Malaysia
Importance of spiritual and ethical approaches to drive climate action
The need to incorporate youth perspectives for inclusive climate decision-making.
The forum is also supported by speakers from the National Antarctic Research Centre, Klima Action Malaysia, and UNITAR.
