ASEAN MakersFest 2026
ASEAN MakersFest 2026 is led by Makerspace@UM and jointly organised with SEAMEO RECSAM and STEM 4 All. The objectives of ASEAN MakersFest 2026 are to promote Maker Culture, foster transdisciplinary innovation, support entrepreneurship and emerging startups, empower future makers and educators, and strengthen collaboration and knowledge exchange across ASEAN. Building on the success of MakersFest 2024, ASEAN MakersFest 2026 aims to expand its regional reach by encouraging collaboration and shared learning, with a strong emphasis on hands-on participation and meaningful engagement.
The two-day programme, taking place on 28 and 29 April 2026 at the Auditorium, Kompleks Perdanasiswa, Universiti Malaya, will feature a variety of activities including forums, project showcases, poster presentations, stage talks and demonstrations, mini workshops, hands-on activities, as well as Makers Challenges.
